Meandering webs of blasphemy and sin:
Vague impression of a bygone dream.
Ravenous dark lords with an hunger so deep
and billions of children that hopelessly weeps.
Jackal’s truth, quick to hide,
Slaughtered children, terrified.
Media coverage, veil of lies
And don’t even bother criticizing.
Hollow circles, masks and disguise,
Reflecting a numbness, deep inside.
Sideshow, freak-act. hell on crusade.
Limelight adorns this masquerade.
It’s a broadcast beast, a ravishing sight,
insidious indeed this devilish knight.
I switch the channels, and still you’re there,
As far as I can tell, you’re everywhere.
I read the stories; you cast the lies,
Why can’t anybody tell me why?
