Not all RLSH have all their marbles. That is true. Before «The Omega School for Superheroes», training was all but standardized. It was, to each man is own. It is thus, not a rare thing, to see some of those «old school RLSH» actually get high or drunk while on patrol.

This is, in our eyes, unacceptable. It is also what explains the weird behaviour some of these characters allow themselves to display.

We can only hope that the next generations of RLSHs will develop along more optimal lines rather than the self-destructing and self-depreciating path many of the veterans of the movement have chosen for themselves.

It is vital in our perspective, that the hero develop and maintain a perfectly clean repute. Teaching to kids BY EXAMPLE rather than by preaching.

When you wear the mantle, respect it. Walk straight. Look people in the eyes. Be polite, respectful, even when confronted with brutes.

Never lower yourself to the level of your adversaries.
